As well as playing a central part in helping Belgium's hurlers sweep to an unstoppable 2009 European Championship victory, Meathman Conor Aylward secured even more silverware for the club in July when he won the European Poc Fada competition.Aylward, pictured here demonstrating his unique Poc Fada stretching technique to Maria "Bomber" Brosnan, beat all comers to take the title, ritually humiliating the club's many Corkmen who have since threatened to go on strike.
